Ward Support Volunteer AMU4 (Ward 4) (BRI)
The AMU 4 is a busy 24-bed acute inpatient ward. Having volunteer support on this ward will help release staff capacity, allowing time for patients to share any concerns in relation to their experiences at home or in hospital.
As a Ward Support Volunteer on AMU 4 you will ensure that patients have someone to chat to, offer any additional drinks required, help patients fill out meal cards, offer support through promotion of wellbeing and comfort, and be a friendly face for those admitted onto the ward.
