Emergency Department Volunteer (Bradford Royal Infirmary)

The Emergency Department has become increasingly busy and patients can be waiting around for long periods of time.

We are looking for volunteers to meet and greet patients, offer support to patients and their relatives whilst waiting, hand out refreshments and many other tasks.

Due to the nature of the environment, this role requires someone who is kind, compassionate and has an empathetic nature, whilst being resilient and able to stay calm when difficult situations arise and capable of coping well in a fast-paced environment.

Volunteering times available 7 days a week: 11:00-13:00 13:00-15:00 16:00-19:00
