Ward Support Volunteer (Falls Prevention) Ward 17 (Bradford Royal Infirmary)
Ward 17 is a bespoke frailty unit based at Bradford Royal Infirmary, caring for patients who are in hospital with underlying frailty or long-term conditions, preventing them from reaching their optimum capacity for discharge.
As a Ward Support Volunteer for the Falls Prevention Team, you will be supporting non clinical activities on the ward to improve our patients experience, whilst helping to maintain safety and promote independence prior to discharge.
You will come into regular social contact with patients.
