Activity Support Volunteer (Ward 26, Vascular) (Bradford Royal Infirmary)

We are looking for Activity Support Volunteers to help improve the experience of our vascular patients on Ward 26 at BRI by encouraging patients to engage in a range of activities.

Do you have an interest in arts, games and other activities? Are you friendly and chatty, and enjoy listening to people?

A large number of our vascular patients have complex needs with reduced mobility, and due to extended stays will really benefit from a range of activities being available to them.

You will need to be able to communicate with people well, in a polite and courteous manner, whilst being able to demonstrate empathy and compassion.

As an Activity Support Volunteer you will be dealing directly with patients on Ward 26 at BRI.
