Volunteer Research Champion (Bradford)

As a Volunteer Research Champion you will help the research department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the NIHR Clinical Research Network spread the word about health and care research to patients and the public, especially those groups who are currently less likely to take part in research. You will also help support research and healthcare staff understand more about the experiences of those who take part in research and help us promote research in health and care services, and across society more widely.

Volunteer Research Champions can include patients, carers, members of the public, and people who have taken part in a research trial before, as well as those who haven’t. Something that they all have in common is that they are passionate about getting more people involved in research so that we can develop better care and treatment for everyone.

The role will involve regular contact with patients, service users and their families and may include travel between hospital sites.
